Southland's Best Kept Secrets

The Power of Community

A day to meet the people, groups and ideas that make Southland special. Come along, have a kōrero, and find out what's been happening right under our noses.

About Eco-Fest

Quiet work, out in the open for a day

Southland is full of people doing good things without much fuss: growers, menders, tinkerers, volunteers, small businesses finding a better way to do things. Eco-Fest brings them into one room for a day, so the rest of us can find out who they are.

Community groups, social enterprises, businesses, local initiatives and electoral candidates will be on hand to share what they do, swap ideas, and meet the neighbours. No pressure, no pitch decks, just kai, kōrero and a good look around.
